When you’re considering hiring a listing agent, there are a few things you need to remember to ask. Here are a few questions you should get answers to when you are first meeting your potential listing agent.
Ask about their marketing strategy. Do they work online and have a plan to get your home noticed or are they strictly in print materials? Discuss how long they’ve been in residential home sales and what experience they have. Is this their full-time job
or do they work outside of the real estate arena? You want to know how much time is dedicated to selling and promoting your home. Talk to them about their communication strategies with you. What kind of updates and how frequent should you expect them?
Also, do not be afraid to ask for references. Anyone who has been in the business should be able to provide references to you without a hitch. If they can’t or won’t, you may want to consider going elsewhere.
